BROADCAST WRITING NOTES FOR PACKAGE DUE 12/6/16

PACKAGE TOPIC

          You will cover a story in the the fields of either health/medicine, Technology or Religion.This cannot be a Rowan topic. You MUST go off campus to get your story.

 

ON CAMERA FIELD REPORTING

 

PACKAGE GUIDELINES: Checklist: The [-11] means that you will get 11 points taken off if that particular item is not turned in. Late packages start at a grade of 85 and 5 more points off for each day it's late. 

______ Interview 3-6 people [-11]
______ One of the people you interview must be an expert [-11]
______ Use 4-6 SOTS in the package [-11]
______ Turn in printed written package [-11]
______ Turn in package/video via email [-11]

 

     SHOOTING & EDITING REMINDERS

- No jump cuts

- Turn up nat sound

- If you pan, then land

- Video shots should not go over 3-4 seconds unless it's a pan.

- Include all lower thirds

- Make sure to add a lower third to your stand up

- Do not forget your tag out : In Pitman, for the Rowan Report, I'm Sean Jones.
