So your hair is short. You still have some amazing options. For those of you transitioning, it's not the funnest stage for some, but you can certainly manage a a half a year out of your life to really see some length. Hair will typically grow 1/4 to a 2/2 inch a month. So what can be done? Check out these options.

Add Some Color

Your most beautiful hair color will bring out the subtleties of your skin tone and enhance itsnatural beauty. Skin tone is extremely important and serves as a guide for the colorist. A good rule of thumb when it comes to picking shades is, if you have cool-toned skin, your color should also be cool in tone and vice versa. If you have warm-toned skin, you should opt for a warmer-toned hair color.

Coil It Up

Begin by combing through the ends. Then, begin twisting the hair, rolling the twist around your index finger. You still want the coil to be tight at the scalp. Smooth between your fingers as you reach the end of the coil, using your thumb and index fingers to twist the ends. Repeat the process across your entire head.

Accessorize

Run to the dollar store and get some of those $1 flowers, snip off the end then tuck behind you ear or attach the flower to your headband. So many flowers, so little time. You can also make a flower very qukcly an easlity.

Flowers are such a great way to accessorize your hair, your sweater, your purse or even a plain jane shoe. If you have a creative bug, get to wrapping. If you can make a circle, you are all good.

This is not only a great way to spice up your hair and wardrobe, it's a fun way for you and your little girl - or your inner girl - to create some great wears. Give them away during the holidays. Click here for simple instructions.
